This tender is for the Supply of Motorcycle Protective Equipment (PPE) for Garda Personnel, covering the body to the neck, wrists and ankles only. Sizing and fitting services are a requirement of this tender. An Garda Síochána are now seeking to introduce a new generation of textile suits to replace the leather suit previously issued to our motorcyclists. This suit must afford the highest level of protection to Garda members whilst also ensuring that it is robust and comfortable for the challenges presented by the Irish climate. Tenderers should note for operational reasons that year one suit quantities will need to be in place on or before 1st May 2026. Tenderers should also note that they must apply for a Unique Anonymous Tender ID as set out in the RFT Document.
