Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "Let's Encrypt"

The subject of this project is ‘Let's Encrypt’, which provides certificates for encrypted communication for all applications on the Internet. As the world's largest and most widely used cross-industry certification authority, ‘Let's Encrypt’ serves over 650 million websites and issues approximately six million certificates every day. The service to be provided is aimed in particular at researching, designing and implementing improvements to the database architecture, raising software security standards and making the DNS infrastructure more stable, reliable and secure in the public interest.
