Technology One are UCC’s current provider for their Room Booking and Timetabling software, Syllabus Plus. This is currently working as an on-premise solution, however, on-premise development has ceased within the current product offering and support is being scaled down. They are requiring customers to migrate to a Software as a Service platform - SaaS Currently, only critical support issues are being addressed with no new features being delivered to on-premise solution. Consequently, SaaS is the mandatory upgrade path. Migrating to the cloud is critical to secure ongoing access to updates, bug fixes and vendor support. It also delivers several key SaaS-only features which will be of benefit to the University. These capabilities are designed to accelerate digital transformation by automating and streamlining timetabling processes and significantly reducing manual effort. It enables seamless integration with core enterprise systems, creating a connected ecosystem that supports long-term scalability. As well as that it works to improve data-driven decision-making through access to high-quality, real-time data insights.
