Proposed Renovation of the existing Mount Saint Mary's Convent of Mercy Building (Protected Structure) to provide 18 no. Social Housing Apartments. The apartments mix will consist of 2 no. studios, 2 no one bedroom units and 14 no. two bedroom units. The total area for refurbishment is approximately 1524 sqm (of which approximately 35 sqm relates to the Chapel section of the building). To facilitate the above works to the fabric of the Protected Structure will also be undertaken. Proposed Extension to the Protected Structure to include a new lift, stairwells and connecting corridors. The area of the extension is approximately 150 sqm Proposed Site Works to include landscaped courtyards, drainage, retaining walls and planting. The works will also include an external bike and bin store.
