FREVAR would like to start a project for research and development of catch, compression, transport and storage of CO2 ("CCS"). The project shall be carried out in connection with FREVAR ́s waste incineration facility at Øra in Fredrikstad and potentially the connected facility to SEBAS (the "Project Area"). There is a need for technology that will function on flue gas from the waste in the project area, where the substances in the waste burning come from a unique mix of fossile and biogeneous sources. FREVAR wants to start a project for research and development of capture, compression, transport and storage of CO2 (CCS). The project will be carried out in connection with FREVAR's waste incineration plant at Øra in Fredrikstad, and potentially the associated facility at SEBAS ("the Project Area"). There is a need for a technology that works on flue gases from waste incineration in the Project Area, where the substances in the flue gas come from a unique mix of fossil and biogenic sources.
