Belgium – Engineering design services – Framework agreement: Integration and test partner - rack designer

At certain intervals during the project and depending on the progress of the design of the Automated Testing Facility (ATF), the assistance of a rack designer is needed. His main task consists of designing 19” racks in accordance with applicable standards and norms. The cabinets will later be built by an electrician (tender 2023-170). This assignment is part of a larger project that consists of 3 different tenders. The tender that submits for this part is allowed to submit for tender 2023-170 (electrician) but not for tender 2023-171 (test engineer) because of the required independence and impartiality of the latter. The total work effort over the first 2 years (sep 2024 – aug 2026) is estimated at 1,4 FTE. For the uniformity of the design of the different racks it is critical that always the same person will be deployed.
