Tender Description
This is a Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC)/ Request for Information to potential service providers to deliver an online Learning Management System for South Dublin County Council’s training requirements. The system will have a user-friendly interface that allows for efficient access to a multitude of functions relation to training delivery and a separate compliance feature (document review, sign off and mandatory engagement features). The platform should also be capable of integrating with existing systems and databases to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to current operations. It should also adhere to the highest standards of data security and privacy, ensuring that staff information is secure and always protected. The platform should harness the capabilities of emerging technologies including AI to provide the best-in-class end user and administration experience. While the core requirement is the provision of an LMS to the Council, the Council wishes to explore other functions and features including: Corporate compliance, Cyber Security awareness and Phishing simulations. • Early September for PMC engagement with SDCC and possible solutions providers • Mid-September/October 2025 – solution providers to demonstrate their platforms, project methodologies, and discuss pricing, • Tender to be published, responses to be evaluated and award made in Q4 2025 • Initiation of the project – completion of the project Q1 2026.
