Norway – Management-related services – Management development programme - invitation to a digital supplier conference.
Tender Description
The Norwegian Environment Agency shall deliver efficiently and well on the social mission and manage the current and future challenges. As a part of this, we want to strengthen our 60 leaders—both individually and as a team. We would therefore like an overall management development programme that helps our managers manage ever higher requirements and expectations and to exercise good leadership in line with the government's five leadership expectations and the directorate ́s needs. We invite tenderers to a digital supplier conference 18 September, where we will present our needs for the management development programme and allow for questions from suppliers. See the attached dialogue note for information on registration. After the supplier conference, we would like to hold one-to-one meetings with suppliers in order to get input on appropriate organisation and a management development programme that meets our needs. Primarily we are interested in hearing about how the suppliers will design, implement and follow-up such a programme and what requirements ought to be set for suppliers. The Norwegian Environment Agency ́s need We shall implement a management development programme that: - allows for reflection, discussion and practical training in management skills - helps managers stand firm in a complex and demanding manager's day - is perceived as relevant and close to business. - are tailored to close dialogue with internal resources and take different management roles and contexts into the Directorate into consideration. - uses varied formats and methods (e.g. physical collections and digital resources). - builds on the employer strategy and good leadership in the state, which both provide important frameworks for the leadership role. The Norwegian Environment Agency has adapted and prepared the basis for good management to us and our needs (see annex "Good management short version"). - is obligatory for all management levels in the Norwegian Environment Agency. It shall contain a core with obligatory modules, with the possibility of catching up with modules one misses out on. - is facilitated for new managers coming to during - can be carried out in Oslo and Trondheim over a four year period.
