For more than 60 years, GIZ has been working jointly with partners in India for sustainable economic, ecological, and social development. The Government of India has launched numerous initiatives to address the country"s challenges, and GIZ is contributing to some of the most significant ones. Various bilateral and develoPPP projects have been undertaken by GIZ in vocational education and training (VET). These programmes work closely with stakeholders, such as state and central government bodies/ministries, donor organisations, private sector partners, not-for-profit organisations. Since 2019, the monitoring tool "Digital Skills Monitor" was used by GIZ India VET components. The tool will phase out in 2025. To have a permanent set-up to support and monitor the ongoing VET-related activities of all projects within the GIZ India country portfolio, a new web-based monitoring tool is required.
