Luxembourg – Technical assistance services – RUFIP III - Rural Finance and Development Project, Ethiopia

This TA programme will come in support of EIB intermediated lending operations for financial inclusion and agricultural finance in Ethiopia. The overall objective is to promote access to responsible sources of funding and technical support for smallholder farmers, notably women, in Ethiopia to grow production in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner in accordance with EU environmental and social (E&S) standards and adapt to climate change. To that end, the programme will build the capacity of a variety of beneficiaries (such as rural financial institutions including microfinance institutions, rural savings and credit cooperatives (RUSACCOs), the Development Bank of Ethiopia, smallholder farmers etc.) over the course of 5 years.
