Ireland – Radiation protection services – Ceiling-Suspended Personal Protective Lead Shielding System for St James's Hospital

Requirement is for a ceiling suspended personal protective lead shielding system for use by Interventional Cardiologists in a busy Cardiac Catherisation Laboratory. It must be usable for all Interventional Cardiac procedures, C-arm angulations and table positions. It must provide radiation protection from the head to below the knees for the primary operator without the need to wear lead aprons, thereby eliminating orthopaedic strain associated with wearing lead aprons.
