EirGrid has established a single supplier framework agreement for the provision of these services. As and when requirements arise, contracts will be awarded to the framework member either on the basis of the original tenders submitted or after discussing a scope of work, agreeing on a cost and issuing a Purchase Order to the framework member. No work should be undertaken without a valid Purchase Order. Any invoice received which does not quote a valid Purchase Order number will be returned to the framework member. The framework agreement period will be for an initial duration of five years with the option to extend annually for up to an additional three years, subject always to the satisfactory performance of the supplier.
