Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Conda / Conda-forge

The project concerns the open source package management system ‘Conda’ and ‘Conda forge’ as one of the largest external package sources for ‘Conda’. The Conda ecosystem helps users install software and the necessary additional components, enabling software written in any programming language to be packaged and distributed. Against this background, ‘Conda’ is widely used, especially among researchers and data scientists. The research and development service aims, among other things, to analyse existing technical, structural and organisational deficits of the project, develop solutions and implement them in order to strengthen the overall stability and long-term sustainability of the ‘Conda’ ecosystem.
