Finland – Public utilities – Updating of Fingrid's type supports

Fingrid Oyj has started updating and upgrading the design of standard supports. The update is necessary because the standards have been changed and the drawings are outdated. Fingrid Oyj is also renewing the support tests conducted between 2010 and 2016. The procurement of the design will be carried out in two stages. In the first stage, potential suppliers will be identified and their suitability assessed (prequalification). After this, official requests for Tender will be sent to the approved suppliers and they can submit their offers. This enquiry concerns prequalification of suppliers, where suppliers are asked to submit an application for prequalification (Stage 1). Results of this prequalification will be valid for all parts of design work. Due to the large number of support types, Fingrid has divided the work into several parts, each with its own Tendering process (Stage 2).
