Ireland – Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services – Provision of an external air quality technical resource to assist EPA staff in the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Programme

The National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Unit (Air Unit) invites tenders for the provision of a technical resource to assist the Air Unit to carry out the laboratory analysis required in fulfilment of the CAFE directive. This includes accreditation to ISO17025 for laboratory analysis, including on-going particulate monitoring, preparation of filter samples for heavy metals preparation/analysis of filter samples for PAH, and sample logistics. These samples are from monitoring sites throughout the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Network. It also includes assistance in communications including daily communication and data checks across the network, daily checks on data displayed on www.airquality.ie and ad-hoc remote communications with stations. Other ambient air quality tasks will also be expected including, but not limited to, laboratory work in accordance with the CAFE Directive.
