Norway – Systems and technical consultancy services – The Norwegian Directorate of Health - RFI system for case handling for the Patient and User Ombudsman (POBO)
Tender Description
The Norwegian Directorate of Health's overall target architecture is based on a hybrid approach, where self-developed systems make up a significant part of the current system portfolio. In accordance with our strategic direction, we are now considering increased use of standardised components and platform services, including software provided as a service (SaaS). As a part of this work, we are looking into future solutions for case handling for the Patient and User Ombudsman (POBO). This system will be an integrated part of our future target architecture. We are now facing a strategic route between the continuation of self-development and the procurement of finished components from the market. We would like the system to be placed in the Norwegian Directorate of Health ́s own infrastructure, both on-prem and in a public cloud and we envisage a system that includes ready-made components that are easy to use in case handling systems. The system shall be able to offer options for integration with API services. The choice we land on will affect the direction and principles in the further development of our target architecture. In this connection, we invite a selection of tenderers to demonstrate how their systems - based on established systems and platforms - can cover our functional needs.
