Ireland – Public relations services – 20/024 Multi-Party Framework for the Provision of Public Relations Services for Irish Water

The Contracting Entity is undertaking a competition for a framework for the following, divided into the following lots: Lot 1 Public Relations Services The scope of services is also expected to include: i. Build and enhance Irish Water’s reputation in the water sector in Ireland increasing trust and confidence; ii. Develop and support key public facing campaigns to increase understanding of the size and scale of the challenge facing Irish Water iii. Assist in relation to Irish Water’s engagement and reputation with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the political, economic and customer arenas in the Republic of Ireland; iv. Supporting the enhancement of the Irish Water brand; v. Supporting Irish Water in its delivery of an ambitious programme of reform across all aspects of water services by increasing public and stakeholder understanding; vi. Facilitation of water infrastructure development through stakeholder engagement and event management to include event planning & execution and media management; and vii. Offsetting the negative impact of any potential PR crisis situations to include provision of strategic advice and potential management press activity arising from high profile issues relating to operational failures, court cases/inquests, complaints, quality concerns and audits/reviews of every description. Lot 2 Government Affairs Services i. Legislative and regulatory monitoring including Oireachtas mentions, committee debates, policy announcements. ii. Evaluation of regulatory, political and governmental risks for the business. iii. Provide advice on positioning Irish Water’s key messages with political and governmental figures iv. Provide advice and guidance on engagement with key audiences and stakeholders v. Provide advice on relevant political and governmental developments vi. Support on appearances before Oireachtas Committee (and similar) with key briefing material, presentations and preparation. vii. Keep Irish Water informed of legislative developments of relevance to its work.
