Ireland – Construction work – 9168 Design and Build Capacity Enhancement Works at Connolly Station

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of a Design and Build Contractor to deliver capacity enhancement works at Connolly Station, part of the DART+ Programme. DART+ is a transformative programme of projects that aims to modernise and improve existing rail services in the Greater Dublin Area (GDA). The DART network will increase from 50 kilometres to 150 kilometres transforming commuter train travel in the Greater Dublin Area. It will provide a sustainable, electrified, reliable and more frequent rail service improving capacity in all rail corridors serving Dublin, bringing DART travel with all its benefits to new and existing communities. The provision of a new electrified fleet will improve capacity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The successful Contractor shall develop the detailed design of the proposed alterations to Connolly Station. The Contractor shall subsequently construct the works, test and commission all systems they install and provide as-built documentation and drawings accurately detailing the works as constructed. Works will need to integrate into the existing operational station, with extensions to systems including (but not limited to) low voltage power, lighting, HVAC, CCTV, Customer Information Systems, Public Address, fire detection and suppression systems and help points.
