Netherlands – Electricity distribution and control apparatus – MSR Gateway

The energy transition is in full swing. Grid manager Liander, part of Alliander, is working hard to expand the electricity grid and is committed to making energy consumption and generation more flexible. The flexibilization requires far-reaching digitization of the electricity grid, requiring both many additional measurements in the grid and possibilities to transmit control signals. This tender concerns the "MSR gateway." The MSR gateway will be the interface between Alliander's central IT systems and all the sensors and actuators in the many medium voltage (MSR) rooms. The MSR gateway consists of and integrates a wireless telecom component, an edge computer, and a measurement system.
