Finland – Electron microscopes – Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer for electron-excited x-ray microanalysis (EDS) and Electron backscatter diffraction system/detector (EBSD)

Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer for electron-excited x-ray microanalysis (EDS) and Electron backscatter diffraction system/detector (EBSD) will be acquired for the Department of Chemistry, University of Helsinki. The instruments will have tens of users yearly. Most will be researchers within the department, but some users are from other units of the university, as well as from other universities, institutes, and companies. The users have varying needs and varying levels of skills. We are looking for instruments that are simple and safe to operate but have good technical performance and versatile functionalities. Supplier is requested to inform procurement unit about the address where the test samples must be delivered.
