Norway – Marine equipment – 03-UDE-2025 Simulators for sailors and ship mechanics (1)

Etterstad SIXth Form College shall start up maritime subjects as educational services from autumn 2025. The school thus needs a simulator that can be used for training and practical training for sailors and ship mechanics. The simulator will be a central tool in teaching, as it provides the possibility to practice situations and tasks that sailors and ship mechanics meet in their professional life. This will help to provide students with the necessary competence and skills to meet the requirements in a demanding and important branch. In addition to the simulator, eight desk bridges (simulator places) shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements in the STCW convention and 1 instructor/teacher user. There will also be a need for a continuing support and service contract.
