Transport Infrastructure Ireland (the “Authority”) has identified the successful candidate for the position of Chairperson of the MetroLink Delivery Oversight Group (“ML Delivery Oversight Group or Delivery Oversight Group”). MetroLink will be a transformative public transport infrastructure project and will be Dublin’s first metro railway. The system will offer a high­capacity, high­frequency metro railway with 16 new stations from Swords to Charlemont. It will interlink with multiple transport networks, including Dublin Airport, Irish Rail, Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART), Dublin Bus, and Luas, promoting a seamlessly integrated transport experience for the Greater Dublin Area. The role of the Chairperson is primarily to guide and lead the Delivery Oversight Group in its task of providing robust oversight, governance, challenge and strategic leadership for MetroLink. The Delivery Oversight Group has responsibility for overseeing the successful development and delivery of MetroLink and to be the decision ­making body on key matters related to Metrolink not reserved for the TII or NTA Boards or Government. The term of the Qualification System shall be circa twelve (12) years. A candidate may seek admission to this Qualification System at any time during its term. The Qualification System shall be established and maintained by the Authority.
