Germany – Lasers – Calibration Laser (Upgrade)

Das Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik (IPP) mit Sitz in Garching bei München betreibt an seinem Standort in Greifswald (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) ein Fusionsexperiment vom Typ Stellarator, den Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X). W7-X hat die Aufgabe, die Eignung des Stellarators als wünschenswerte Alternative zum Tokamak auf dem Weg zu einem Fusionskraftwerk zu demonstrieren.
