EirGrid have a continual need for a variety of design and print services, therefore EirGrid intends to establish a single supplier framework for the provision of these services. In recent years, budget split between EirGrid’s requirement for these services is approximately divided 70 percent for design services and 30 percent for print services. The requirements can vary in print volume (eg. 50 copies -10,000 copies) and include items such as colour documents, brochures, voluminous planning and technical reports with binders, dividers and fold-out maps, merchandising such as jackets, pens, notebooks and keyrings. Design and print material for EirGrid typically includes maps, graphs and pie / bar charts. Requirements may also include web-based design and execution services and POS material. While a creative agency is retained by EirGrid for advertising campaigns, ad hoc advertising may be required from an appointed design agency, designed for print, OOH, html5, and more.
