South Dublin County Council (the Contracting Authority) is currently planning for a coffee shop to be located, in Corkagh Park, South Dublin County Council area. Corkagh Park a 300-acre regional park owned by South Dublin County Council. Corkagh Park is located near the Naas Road stretching towards Clondalkin. Opened to the public in 1986, it consists of 120 hectares and was formerly part of Corkagh Demesne. There are many amenities in the park including an adjacent caravan park: camacvalley.com The Hub The construction of a new purpose-built Café building with public toilets, kitchen, storage, serving area and internal seating (see Appendix 4 for the plan). A new multi-use events space with a stage and hardstanding. A soft-landscaped area with formal seating areas, picnic areas, amenity lawn, mounds, incidental play and native ornamental planting The café facility will be located here in The Hub and it will have an extensive outdoor element. Work on the hub zone area including the café building has commenced and will progress through 2024. Site Visits - The overall park is fully accessible is publicly accessible to tenderers. However, if tenderers wish to access the building (currently under construction) that can be arranged.
