Italy – Actuators – Framework contract for the supply of actuators for the ELSA laboratory

The Framework under preparation is about the purchase of set of actuators for the ELSA laboratory. ELSA (European Laboratory for Structural Assessment) is a unique research infrastructure (RI) belonging to the European Commission (EC) – Directorate JRC and managed by the Unit E.3 “Built Environment”. This research infrastructure (RI) features a Reaction Wall (RW) facility allowing experimental investigation on the structural performances of real-scale structures, with particular attention to their seismic response. Tests are executed loading the specimens imposing forces or displacements applied using oleodynamic actuators (simply referred to as “actuators” in the following).
