Histopathology at St Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) is seeking a fully automated on-site block and slide archiving and management system for our Pathology department. The solution should be comprehensive and inclusive of all associated supplies and services, updates and upgrades. To the best of our knowledge, there is a single and sole original manufacturer and distributor for a solution which meets all requirements, namely HealthCare 21 Group on behalf of Dreampath. A Voluntary Ex-Ante Publication (VEAT) Notice will be published in OJEU, outlining SVUH’s intention to the market i.e. award a contract without prior call for competition as per Article 32.2.b.ii competition is absent for technical reasons (Procedure above the EU Threshold). SVUH will not execute a contract with the identified provider for a minimum of fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the above-mentioned Notice.
