Belgium – Road transport services – Passenger transport for JRC-Geel

JRC Geel is located 7 km outside Geel centre and is not well connected to the public transport infrastructure. As a result transportation services for its staff and visitors are required. JRC Geel members of staff undertake numerous missions during the year in connection to the business needs of the institute. Additionally there is a large number of visitors visiting the JRC Geel on a regular and non-regular basis. The transport services are mainly provided within the boundaries of the provinces of Antwerpen, Limburg and Vlaams-Brabant (incl. Brussels). Occasionally the services are required outside the areas mentioned above and include transport abroad (for example Germany, the Netherlands) depending on the relevant activities of the JRC Geel. The main destinations are to / from the Brussels airport, to/from Brussels centre and to/from Geel / Mol. Therefore, the JRC Geel has an intention to call upon an external service provider for the transport of staff members and visitors of the JRC Geel by car and minibus. Furthermore, transport of luggage with normal weight and size is also required.
