Ireland – Electrical installation work – Contract with Options for Electrical Installation Upgrade Works at Beaumont Hospital

Beaumont Hospital (i.e., the Contracting Authority) intends to appoint a suitably-qualified and experienced contractor to undertake various electrical installation upgrade works. The sole commitment arising as a result of this competitive process will be Phase 1 of the upgrade project, as specified in Volume A - Works Requirements; however, as recurring options that may be availed of solely at the discretion of the Contracting Authority, the appointed contractor may be awarded subsequent contracts to undertake further phases of work. In this regard, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to award subsequent contracts to the appointed contractor for a period of four years from the commencement of this contract. No guarantee is offered, however, nor shall any such guarantee be inferred, regarding the award of any contract for any subsequent phase of work. Each phase of work shall be considered a standalone and discrete package of work, to be governed separately and independently by PW-CF6. For information purposes, the estimated value of each phase of the project is between €400,000 and €650,000, excluding VAT.
