Ireland – Installation services of electrical and mechanical equipment – Retrofit of Revolving Door at Front Entrance to Beaumont Hospital

There is a revolving door at the front entrance to Beaumont Hospital initially installed by Boon Edam Ireland Ltd that has ceased working. An urgent upgrade is required to bring the door up to EN16005 standard, this upgrade will involve a retrofit TX to TX 16005. Due to the fact that Beaumont Hospital is an acute hospital and on the grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in completing this retrofit. On grounds of technical reasons, competition is absent for this requirement. Specifically, the only parts and software that can be used in the retrofit can only be supplied / accessed by the original supplier. The value of this procurement is €69,000, exclusive of VAT. The Contracting Authority undertakes that this purchase will not be made until a period of fourteen calendar days has elapsed, commencing on the day after the date of dispatch of this notice for publication.
