The procurement of respite services in Bodø municipality intends to ensure a quality approved tender for users with different disabilities, when the municipality itself cannot cover the need. The agreement will be signed as a parallel framework agreement with up to three tenderers and will have a duration of five years, with an option for an extension for a further two years. The users include children, youths and adults with disabilities, which can include mental disabilities, mental disorders and physical disabilities. The estimated annual value of the procurement is NOK 8.5 million, with a total limit of up to NOK 48 million excluding VAT. The contract will be awarded based on the best price-quality ratio, with an emphasis on service quality, location and total costs.
