Norway – Reagents and contrast media – Intention notice: Consumables for Auto DG Droplet Digital PCR instrument for Helse Bergen HF

Helse Bergen HF currently has a contract with BIO_RAD Norway AS for the procurement of instrument dependent consumables for Auto DG Droplet Digital PCR-instrument. This consumables is used by the Cancer Genetics Department at Haukeland University Hospital. The current contract expires and Helse Bergen needs a new contract that will come into force when the current contract expires. The company also has a need for a reagent kit BCR-ABL %IS. The consumables must be compatible with the existing equipment in the department; Auto DG Droplet Digital PCR instrument purchased in 2018. Necessary consumables that are compatible with the existing equipment can only be procured by BIO-RAD Norway AS, and on this basis a competition cannot be arranged, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 letters b (2 and 3). An agreement is planned to be signed 10 days at the earliest after publication of an intention notice. The contract will start at the earliest in week 33 due to staff holidays.
