With the aim to achieve operational excellence, increase efficiency and ensuring the Office’s IT services are sustainable for the future, this CfT focuses on the organization into six key service areas: • service management to maintain a structured approach to service delivery, • service desk for a single point of contact for user support, • platform operations to manage all infrastructure and platforms, servers, appliances, and user compute, including software, • release engineering to deploy, release and support the business applications and middleware based on site reliability engineering principles, • innovation and automation hub to automate and industrialize operation activities to improve the efficiency of the service provisioning, and • data analysis and reporting to support the data analytics and reporting services to drive informed decision-making processes within the EUIPO.
