Norway – Wide area network services – Intention notice - WAN communication

Ringerike municipality intends to enter into a contract with Viken Fibre AS for the delivery of WAN communication, including fibre connections for data communication between existing and new locations, layer 2, layer 3 and dark fibre. The contract value per annum is NOK 1,600,000 excluding VAT. The contracting authority has concluded that in this procurement we are facing one supplier situation in accordance with PPR §13-4 first section letter b no. 2, as a result of Viken Fibre AS being the only supplier who can provide this service due to already established connections for high speed broadband to the current locations.
