Norway – Software package and information systems – RFI: Solutions for production planning and dispatching of trains

Vygruppen has initiated the project 'Close the Gap' (CTG). CTG will deliver tomorrow's system support for production planning and train operations. The project's goal is to enable cost-effective, comprehensive, and secure production planning and dispatch, create customer value, engage employees, and allow us to adapt to changing circumstances. The project originates from a strategic initiative where Vygruppen conducted a Request for Information (RFI) in June 2020. As part of the concept phase of the CTG project, a new RFI was conducted in May 2024. These RFIs were followed up with a supplier conference on May 28, 2025. The project is in the planning phase, focusing on developing plans and strategies to realize the chosen concept. This RFI is an important part of this process. Vygruppen AS and the Close the Gap project invite all suppliers who can meet all or part of the needs presented in this RFI to participate and submit a response. Both established companies with proven solutions and startups are welcome to respond. The purpose of the RFI is to gather information from the market and suppliers about functional and technical aspects, contract terms, costs, and project implementation.
