Norway – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Process in accordance with damsikkerhetsforskriften - Frøylandsdammen

The contracting authority needs to enter into a contract based on NS 8401 in order to carry out a process in accordance with the dam safety regulations for Frøylandsdammen. Sandnes municipality is the owner of Frøylandsdammen, located just south of hommersåk centre. The river from Frøylandsdammen flows through the centre of Hommersåk to the sea. Frøylandsdammen shall now undergo a re-assessment in accordance with the Damsikkerhetsforskriften §7-5 Reassessment. Before the pond reassessment can be carried out, flood calculations and dam wave calculations (DBBB) must be prepared. In addition a 200-year flood zone map shall be made that the Contracting Authority can use for a number of different purposes, including in connection with zoning plan work. When flood calculations and dam break wave calculations have been prepared and carried out, there will be a need to carry out a reassessment, this work is option based. Depending on the results of the reassessment, there may be a need to have a technical plan prepared, follow-up of this and the preparation of reporting-as-finished. This work is option based. The following process shall be implemented: 1. Flood calculations 2. Dambruddbølgeberegninger (DBBB) 3. Option: Pond Reassessment 4. Option: When measures are required as a result of the reassessment: Preparation of a technical plan including the HSE plan and environmental plan. 5. Option: If measures are required as a result of the reassessment: Be a resource in connection with the procurement process for work on/at the pond, as well as assist in following-up the execution. 6. Option: If measures are required as a result of the reassessment: Preparing report as finished after the measures have been carried out. See "Annex 1 - Requirement Specifications" for further details.
