Molde municipality has fall rights for electricity production from Raudsanddammen in Molde municipality. The current dam facility was built just before 1950, and only minor measures have been taken at the dam facility. The pond will not comply with the current regulations and the pond installations must therefore be upgraded. Previously, both Nesset kraft AS and Istad kraft AS have looked at the possibilities of establishing electricity production from the dam facility, but have not chosen to move forward with these plans. Speira AS has also looked at options for electricity production, without wanting to move forward with these plans. It is desirable to hold a survey on whether there are other relevant interested parties who may be interested in establishing electricity production from Raudsanddammen.As a basis for the market dialogue around the municipality's fall rights, there are 4 underlying agreements.
