University of Galway invites tenders for the supply of a Multiplexed spatial biomarker (protein and RNA) tissue imaging device. The system will be used for pathological analysis of biological processes using histological slides. This type of analysis increasingly relies on digitised versions of these slides. Combined with light microscopy this can only examine one facet of the biological processes per slide. We require the ability to examine multiple (10s-1000s) biomarkers simultaneously on a single slide for translational and clinical research applications with downstream processing of the slide following analysis if possible.
