The City of Reykjavik is seeking a modern, scalable and user-friendly Management System to support the daily operations of preschools, daycare providers, summer activities programs and after-school programs. The system will streamline key administrative and communication processes, including application handling, waitlist management, billing, attendance tracking, staff-to-child ratio monitoring, group organization, and parent engagement. It should ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR), and support accessibility for all user groups. A key requirement is that the system be fully integrable into the City’s digital infrastructure, including single sign-on (SSO) and via “Mínar síður” (My Pages), and customizable to reflect Reykjavík’s branding. The solution should be available both as a web-based interface and mobile application, enabling real-time interaction between staff, parents, and administrators.
