Ireland – Computer equipment and supplies – The provision of 2 x enterprise storage arrays and associated software, licensing and support

The objective of this SRFT is to : • Non-disruptively replace 2 x DellEMC VMAX 250F SAN attached storage arrays, located in two data centres; • Facilitate the relocation of Revenue’s Dublin Castle datacentre functions to the new Government Datacentre in Backweston; • To allow the completion of Revenue batch work within its daily and weekly windows; • Provide scalable capacity and performance; • Ensure flexibility in terms of storage usage and costs; • To facilitate the continued use of snapshot-based copies to reduce storage consumption without impacting on source data performance. Other requirements: • Virtualization of storage; • Ease of management including creation and deletion of LUNs, storage provisioning, performance monitoring, fault detection; • Data reduction techniques; • Snap/clone management software; • Encryption; • Automated Quality Of Service; • Project management and installation services.
