NOTICE! This is not a procurement notice or a request for offers, but a market survey, i.e., a request for information. The contracting authority is planning to procure an automated sample sorter system for bacteriology and virology and immunology. In connection with this procurement, we are now requesting additional information from suppliers regarding the devices in question and any related accessories and services. The purpose of this request for information is to obtain comprehensive details about the sorter devices so that the competitive bidding process can be carried out as appropriately as possible. The object of the procurement is two sorter systems: - One for bacteriology - One for virology and immunology In both lots the volume of the samples is 700-900 samples/work day. In bacteriology sorted tubes consist of 5 ml and 10 ml BD-urine-tube/eSwab/eMRSA tubes. Most of the samples arrive between 1 - 6 pm. Samples are removed from plastic bag and sorted manually in containers before being manually placed in racks. After analysis, the samples are archived in bulks collected in plastic bags. Occasionally the samples need to be referred to and need to be manually searched from the plastic bags. In virology and immunology most of the samples are removed from plastic bag and placed to a bulk loader. Sorting is done according to barcode label to six bins. Samples are logged in. Some samples are sensitive to contamination and therefore must be handled in an upright position. These samples arrive in racks or plastic bags. Sorting is done according to barcode label. Samples are logged in and put to work queues. Sampletubes are transferred to another rack. The purpose of this request for information is to gather comprehensive details about the planned procurement so that any potential request for quotation can be implemented appropriately. The contracting authority does not commit to carrying out the procurement. If the procurement is implemented, changes to the content of this notice are possible. This request for information is not a procurement notice, and publishing this notice does not initiate a competitive bidding process. Responding to the request for information is not a prerequisite for participating in any subsequent tendering process, nor does responding affect the supplier’s position in a possible competitive bidding process. Suppliers responding to this request for information or participating in any subsequent, more detailed market dialogue are not entitled to compensation for participation.
